I'm Che Birch-Hayes — a UK wedding photographer who values people, connection, and the stories that unfold when everyone is simply allowed to be themselves. I photograph weddings quietly and thoughtfully, bringing experience, warmth, and just the right amount of guidance so couples can relax, enjoy the day, and trust that everything is being taken care of.

What I offer

A little bit about me

Away from weddings, I spend most of my time with my wife Becky, our two teenage kids (still adjusting to that), and our two dogs. Daily walks are non-negotiable, usually fuelled by good coffee and whatever music mood I'm in that day — anything from Anjunabeats and Fred again.. through to Sam Fender, Death Cab for Cutie, or The Temper Trap.

I love being outdoors and get to the Brecon Beacons whenever I can. Hiking, fresh air, and space to think are important to me — as is the occasional attempt at DIY or gardening, often with mixed results.

I'm fairly laid back by nature and always up for a laugh. It's usually the small, silly things — people's quirks, characters, and unfiltered moments — that make me smile the most.

Meet Che

Couples often tell me that having me there felt easy — like spending the day with someone they already knew. I bring a calm, friendly presence, backed by a lot of experience. I'm there to support the flow of the day, not interrupt it. I'll check in, suggest rather than demand, and make sure you're comfortable at every stage.

I deliberately avoid being overly directive or forcing moments that don't feel like you. No awkward posing, no cheesy setups — unless that genuinely is your thing. My role is to help you enjoy your wedding and feel confident that your photos reflect who you are.
